Speed Test / Tip

For those of you wanting to get all the speed you can out of WP and CP Responsive I offer these tips.

#1 Ditch non-essential plugins (Obvious)

#2 I recommend Quick Cache Pro (there is a lite try before you by version)

#3 Cloudflare. Set it for Full Bleeding Edge optimization. (Free Account will do nicely) (TURN OFF SMART ERRORS in the APPS SECTION if you are using the Prosperent plugin (not the import tool but Prosperents own plugin as it will cause problems. If not, then leave smart errors on.)

#4 gtmetrix.com to test load times, etc. Get their plugin, and test from WP-ADMIN.

Right now my site is getting a 96% A grade using these little tips. It gets a 76% on yslow but who cares about yahoo anyway. Googlebot will be pleased with the score and speed improvements and page indexing will improve as a resul, and we can all use more pages in index. 😉
