health shop slider problem

I wanted a white grey and black based site, so i went for the book shop, but unfortunately there is something wrong, parts of it is spilling out from the main frame. So i installed the health shop, which i very much like the structure.
But i have the following problems

1)Is there a way I can get rid of the grass hopper green title backgrounds, and price labels, and replace with a colour of my choice?
2) No matter what i do, the demo photos of the slider keeps coming back.How can i stop that?
Please help
