Search Field + Home Page "Layout and Objects"

Dear All,

I have not touched my site for about a month. Today I have disabled the “star rating” system and at my great surprise the keyword search has disappeared from the advanced search! Tried to put it back but whenever I click on save, it simply disappaears. (I sorted out this issues using a widget…)

But my real problem started when in “Home Page” – Layout and Objects wanted to use the “Basic search” object. I have added it and all my other objects have disappeared (I had 60+ banners I created via the 1 column and the 2-column objects.)

Did anyone have this type of problem? Is there a quick fix to it?
