Featured Categories with auto start and end date?

Hi,
I am not sure how to describe this – but here goes: I want to add a product “category” called (for example) 1 Dollar Fridays. All auctions links to their own categories as well as this “category”. I then want the category to only run every Friday for the 1 Dollar auctions.. rest of the time normal auction prices apply
So if I have 1 Dollar auctions every Friday – only auctions linked to the “1 Dollar category” should be displayed – and that category should only run on that specific day?
Examples of this can been seen on https://www.bidorbuy.co.za/ – They have something called Weekend Specials, Deal of the week etc.. Even ebay has “Daily Deals”

Hope I have been clear.. Does anybody know if this Responsive Auction Theme version 5.6 supports something like this? Or knows how I can make it happen?
