Spambot Prevention

I’m trying to disguise an e-mail field in my directory so that it does not get crawled by Spambots.

I have tried to insert the antispambot function in my custom listing page design, but feature only seems to read html and shortcodes. I could not get antispambot(“[email_field]”) to work.

Where could i got to edit this in the php source? Or, preferably, has anyone successfully implemented a wp plugin to do this, like Email Address Encoder?
