    Does the Responsive Theme operate faster than the basic theme?

    for example the search function and navigation ….are these markedly faster.

    Will the volume of content in the database slow down the query speeds of the search function.

    I am trying to ascertain whether my hosting is impacting the speed of my site significantly and whether I should move hosting.

    Some guidance about this would be most welcome?
