let me chose an empty value on non required custom field – select ?

So.
I make a dropdown custom field with some options inside. But if the field is not required, I expected to see a blank option, but this doesn’t occur.

Also making a ‘no value’ option is quite an ugly solution :/

I don’t want it to force me choosing a value, can we just have this blank option in the custom field, when it’s not required, in some way?
