Buy Now Price/ Starting Bid

Hi Mark,
I’ve got a question for you.
When posting a new auction listing…
If auction type is Normal Auction and Buy Now Price is set for example at $100.00 this amount shows up as the current price until someone bids on the item.
If you are only looking for a starting bid of just $5.00 the one hundred dollar current price could scare off many users browsing this item.
Is there a way to have the Buy Now Price be the current price for Classifieds (Buy Now Only) listings? Or alternatively allow the listing author to set the starting bid which would then show up as the current price, even if it gets halved I think the desired starting range would be more attractive to potential buyers than the much higher Buy It Now price.
Once the first bid is placed all is well.
