Toggling issue, not getting resolved

Hi I am using directorypress 7.1.3 and wordpress 3.6 i have tried all of the following and confused what is causing the issue not be able to toggle things to open up in the back end.

Disabled all plugins – still can’t toggle
Renamed plugin folder – still can’t toggle
Changed theme to twenty twelve eleven – toggling works again
Try directory press again – toggling doesn’t work

Note – I do not have yoast wordpress seo enabled – i saw a few threads claiming this was the issue – i have over 200 wordpress sites all using different themes and yoast wordpress seo and only see this happening with directorypress. Also for the record I do not have any caching plugin and looked through my ftp making sure any plugin i deleted is actually deleted and didn’t leave files behind.
