Login Not Working?

I have set up the Video Theme Version 8.9.5 and I am trying to test log-in as a Subscriber here: https://myteachersidekick.com/wp-login.php?action=login (User Name: steve PW: ben) but nothing happens. Is that what is supposed to happen, or do I have something set up improperly?

When the link to “My Account” is clicked and the same login is attempted, it redirects to the Account page properly. But a problem arises when a user types their password incorrectly, they are redirected to https://myteachersidekick.com/wp-login.php and entering the correct password doesn’t send them to “My Account” as expected (because the “&redirect_to=%2Fmy-account-2%2F” is removed).

If this is how the theme is designed, and not an error on my end, is there a section of code within the theme that I can update that will make this more user friendly / intuitive?
