Submission + Design Questions

A couple of questions to the submission of items:
1. How do I allow free/non-membership submission for visitors not logged in, simply present the form and let people submit for free ?
2. Can I make a recip link a requirement like in most directory scripts?

Design
Then layout. In Elementor – is there a comprehensive list of shortcode somewhere? If I use the default template I get a large “business directory” splash screen with no options to edit/remove elements.

I basically just want the categories like in a classic directory – but there seems to be no shortcode for it (categories shortcode will list them all but in one long 1 colomn list)

How is it supposed to work?
