Removing top navigation item _how?

I’ve just installed shop theme and need to customize the main theme before making a child theme. The top navigation bar has “free shipping and Product Returns” on the right hand side but its obscured by “my cart’ which is far more important than advertising something I don’t offer.

I’ve tried all ‘view/hide options but the blasted free shipping thing keeps coming back. Can someone tell me how to remove it?
