Order Manager not updating. Even after payment made (DT 8.9)

Hey all – I have a fairly new website that I just launched on Monday (April 11th) to pretty good traffic/success. I’m using the Directory theme as a resource guide for authors called Author Stash. I launched with over 650 listings and received great feedback. The site is pretty “vanilla” right now but I plan on turning on more features in the next few weeks. That’s what brings me to my issue.

I hadn’t planned on enabling the “claim listing” feature or even set up packages for a few months since I just wanted to nail the execution first of the free resource directory. But everyone out there wanted the ability to add listings and claim theirs that I had already loaded. So I set it all up.

I got about 6 FREE listings in the first day. Last night (2 days after turning it on) I got my first paid listing… or so I thought. I got the emails stating that there was a new listing and a new user registered but neither of those show up in the Order Manager.

Then I got an email from the user saying that when he tried to pay he got an error on Paypal side stating “This recipient does not accept payments denominated in US. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency.” My Paypal gateway wasn’t configured correctly I guessed.

After researching (and finding this same error in a few threads) I couldn’t find a solution so I tried a few things and I think it fixed it when I entered USD instead of US as the currency.

Now, that was fixed… so I created a dummy user account, claimed a listing, picked an upgraded package, edited it and paid. The payment went through Paypal just fine (I used a second Paypal account so it would be just like a new user would experience) and then nothing happened.

The listing stayed in pending, didn’t show that I’d paid and didn’t update as an order in Order Manager.

Paypal confirmation came through (from Paypal, not the site) on both sides showing that the amount was paid and was processed. But something didn’t trigger on the site. Order manager is still blank and even after I published the listing it showed that payment hadn’t been made and asked me to pay (on my dummy user account).

Anyone know what might be up? Does order manager only show paid listings or would it also show free? I’ve processed a few listings using 100% off coupon codes and those don’t show in order manager either.
