Registration Successful

When a new user registration is successful it currently returns to the login page with a message saying the registration is successful, which can be a bit confusing as it is not clear that logging on again is not necessary. What I would like to do is link automatically to a Welcome page which will introduce the customer to the web site and provide the next steps, tips etc and provide a better experience.

Is there a simple way to do this, assuming that I have created a new page called “Welcome”.
