Blog Carousel shows listings, not blog posts

Hello, I’m working on the blog portion of my site and I’m using the Page Builder. One of the options is Dynamic > Blog Carousel, another is just simply Carousel. They both display the same content (coupon listings). I was assuming that the Blog Carousel would display blog posts, but it doesn’t. How can I force one of these to show the blog posts only?

Or, what is the method for using the Page Builder to call up the blog posts? I do not want to use the [Blog] page template because I need to use a different sidebar and page elements that are not a part of the [Blog] template. That is why I’m using the Page Builder.
