Username and password info

Hi

When users register with my website, even though they have chosen a username and password, they still receive the following email:

” Subject: Your username and password info

Username: *****

To set your password, visit the following address: ”

****With a link back to the website here to set password***

I have switched off send wordpress registration email in theme setup > Email settings
All email alerts are switched off.

So how can I stop this?

The user clicks on the link and then has to chose another password even though they chose it during registration.

HELP?!
