New member issues

I have an issue, that really needs addressing please.

When a member signs up – chooses a membership pkg – logs in with there new login name and password they get redirected to their account, it sits for a few seconds with everything showing, then refreshes to the Pay Now Button. I don’t want it to sit there as they can quickly click on the feature listings and send messages etc, without paying. I want Feature listings to show in the account settings. They can choose anything, just click on it.

Can I not get them to purchase first before even logging in to there account?

Really need this issue addressed somehow Please.
