Shortcode problem

    I have placed shortcodes such as [suburb] [state] [post_code] into the content-single-listing-classifieds.php file and they work.
    I have also placed them into the defaults_classifieds.php file to display the fields on the ad details page but they do not work. Can someone please let me know why?
