Listing carousel on home page – unresponsive script warning

Happy Christmas everybody.
Thought I would do a bit more on my site before tucking in to presents, food and wine later on today but I have come up against a problem.

The Listing Carousel on my home page is causing an “Unresponsive script” warning.
How do I know this? Because when I remove the Carousel from the page the problem goes away.
The warning reads

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

None of that makes any sense to me – I simply have no idea how to go about “curing” this problem and I have no idea where it suddenly came from – Any help much appreciated.
