Hello folks,
I’m working with a plugin called Advanced Custom Fields Pro’s Repeater Field format to introduce a unique custom field entry section in the backend of my directorypress theme..
I have attached the backend and front end view of what is going on here.
Basically, I’m having a ‘People in your law firm’ section where they can put as many lawyers in the firm as possible and link it to their account, the front end view shows how they will be displayed. The first image you see is in the edit listing section for the user when he edits his listing , this is directly underneath the custom meta information in ‘step 2’. The 2nd image contains a view of how it would supposed to look on the front end.
However, when putting the form into the backend , it doesn’t seem to actually save , it tells me ‘Saving in progress’ when i click submit but never actually refreshes and saved the data. I know the form is conflicting with the edit process on the backend and was curious if anyone has ever had any experience implementing ACF Pro elements into the current update process for the listing backend.
I think it’s a matter of matching the data, then plugging that data into how DirectoryPress currently registers.
In the future, I think support for Advanced Custom Fields Pro would be huge because it lets you do so many things, just a suggestion though.
