Block Display for Element

See the element under the slider (this is headline & well content block which is a full width element), seems to be pulling the formatting from the carousel above, it acts like code from the carousel has not been closed possibly, I would like to have background space between the carousel and the element but cannot figure out where to go to do it or wondering what the options are for resolving this. Thank you
