WordPress update! Now everything is crazy

I upgraded WordPress and now things have gone haywire. Specifically when I go to manage a property now, the whole page looks completely different. Tagline and short description fields have disappeared. Can no longer add details like prices, bedrooms, etc. Can no longer add images. It is like the box is squished. Cannot publish. A disaster. I backed up with my webhost before the download but before I look into restoring I thought I’d see if anyone has any advice.

You have not mentioned which theme or version?

Perhaps an example of a URL?

    I am using RealtorPress 7.1.4
    My site is http://www.granalacantproperties.com/wordpress

From the user side, all looks fine I guess. it is the admin side that is a mess.

And thanks for taking a look. I was close to replacing the old site with the new wordpress one but this could push everything back.

did you just upgrade to 3.6 – then look at the sticky thread at the top of the “General discussion” forum for your answer.

Thanks for pointing out the thread, Jeffrey. It is all greyed out so I didn’t even notice.

I have the magic fix-it PPT file. Now, I just need someone to help me figure out where to put it. I have no idea. Still learning my way around WP.

    Thanks in advance!

I used my FTP software to overwrite the files in the correct folder.

Unzip the fix then open your FTP software and then copy the files from the fix into the appropriate folder location, this will overwrite the old files and then you are back in businesss.

“/wp-content/themes/shopperpress/PPT/js” – change “shopperpress” for the name of your theme.
