What happens to menu in mobile view

Since updating I realize that for some reason no menu is being display for business theme 8.9.
I understand activating main menu through theme options, but I had it working before updating. How can I get it back working the way it use to work or this feature is discontinued.

The circle area is where I use to have a menu.

This is the way I have set up menu

In themes option I select logo and search for top navigation. I disable main menu.

I then create a menu in appearance->menu for top navigation which shows ok.

I then create a menu for main navigation which should have show when the site goes to mobile view, but not seeing that dark area above my site main area, which should have shown the menu.

What am doing wrong and how can I get my menu to look like the menu in the image.
