What email plugins do you use?

Hi all – a bit of a noob question, but what email plugins are you using with your PremiumPress themes?

I am interested to know what experiences you have had and what works well and what doesn’t with both WP system plugins e.g. for SMTP and any overlay email management plugins (in addition or in place to the in-built theme options).
