upgrade to wordpress 4.2 wiped out program

It’s important that PP users try and understand what Mark is aiming to achieve with his themes.

It doesn’t take a scientist to realise that a lot of plugins do not work with PP themes.

That’s because Mark has built the functionality most users are looking for into the theme already, and therefor there maybe some conflict when other plugins are installed.

The best advice I could give, is to trust Mark and his team.

Install PP as is and perhaps a security plugin, such as WordFence.

Second to all of this, do not update to a new version of WP until there is an ‘all clear’ on this forum.

If you have a whole bunch of plugins installed on top of PP, and jump to the next version of WP, then expect issues, IMHO. It’s basic WP protocol as many of the plugins are not even compatible with the latest version of WP.

As an example, I have the following installed on my WP site without issues:

Theme: Directory Theme (latest version)
Plugins: Wordfence Security, PP Terms and Conditions Plugin

Keep it simple and you’ll enjoy the PP product.
