Hello! I have attached a screenshot of the Stripe payment box that pops up when I click to make a payment for a listing.

I added SSL cert to the site, and have my Stripe account set up.

The problem is, in the credit number field, I can’t type anything in. It’s shaded out in gray, and can’t be clicked into and actually enter real info. What have I missed? Thank you!

Maybe your Stripe account is still in test mode?

Hi Clive, I have my stripe account set to “Live”. My keys are the live keys, not test. Must be something else. Thanks!

Did you try disabling all your plugins?

@Mark, Hi Mark, yes I disabled all plugins. Then I just activated the payment gateway plugin, still can’t enter any info into the box. Let me know if you have any other potential solutions.

@Hemanta @Mark, I added this as the provided Payment Gateway plugin that came with the theme.

Here’s a link to the “Add Listing” page where a $5 listing can be selected:

Thank you very much!

@hemanta Thank you for looking into this I really appreciate it.

I was on IE. I tried Chrome, and it did work. However I notice on the screenshot you provided, it asks for your mobile phone number. Even when I used Chrome, it did not have the phone # field pop up.

So now I’m wondering, how to fix this on IE.
And, should the phone # field show up for all browsers?

Thanks!!!

Hi, my screenshot is from chrom itself. It doesn’t ask for phone number by default. If you click on Remember me, then only it asks for phone number.

Aboout IE compatibily, I will look on it shortly.

@Hemanta @Mark, thank you to both of you! I’ve sent a message to Stripe because I tried to purchase a listing using my own card, and it did not work. I’ll see if I have something incorrect in my stripe settings. Thanks again!!!

One think you should do if force https://

Add the following to your wordpress .htaccess file under: RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
It will eliminate the warning and set all urls to https://

@M, thank you for that info!

I tried sending another payment through using my credit card (for the $5 listing package on my site).
https://usedcarshutchinson.com/add-listing/

I get a green checkmark as if it went through. I check with my Stripe acct, no payment has come through. I contacted them, they say everything is set up correctly, and that it must be on my wp side.

Additionally, the vehicle I tried to pay to list, is still showing in my account page as needing payment.

If anyone has another idea of what I could try, I’m all ears. I have deactivated the payment gateway and reactivated it twice.

Thank you!
