Speed & performance help, anyone?

Okay, I have done some website speed testing and my site seems to load in less than 4 seconds just by taking 2 background photos off of my site but I would have them there if anybody can help me optimize my photos to the maximum optimization possible.

Also, I’m looking for help on my site and/or guidance on the following:

– Minimize request size
– Combine external JavaScript
– Combine external CSS
– Parallelize downloads across hostnames
– Remove query strings from static resources
– Determine which errors need fixing and what plugins I can live without
– And any css, html, php, js, etc. fix suggestions

What I’m looking for is a user-friendly way to do this, as I’m not so technie like you esteemed ladies & gentlemen.

Any help can be exchanged for marketing & sales guidance, marketing plan, business plan, market research, competitive matrix, promotion, errands, etc.
