Software Download Questions – Is there a forum?

Hello all…
I’m using the new Responsive Software Downloads Theme.

A few questions:
1. Is it very similar to another theme (video theme?) so I can search the forums rather than blindly posting?

2. Where can I remove/change some of the compulsory fields to be filled when the user submits a listing (ie Version number for the software doesn’t make sense for my site because there will only ever be one version of the content sold.)

3. I am getting a permissions error during login (as member, not as admin) when the Member is added as contributor but not getting the error when member is author.

4. Can the member upload a file during listing and have this as the product for download? It appears files for download can only exist prior to listing and the member has to enter the url into the

Attachments can be uploaded but they appear to just be images for the listing? So will I have to somehow send this url to the user for them to list???

My Directory site has tanked at the moment because I can’t get the Advanced Search working, so I purchased this Download Theme and hoping I have better luck.
