    Well I hope it’s simple.

    I used DirectoryPress 8.8 and have used the Directory Theme as my “Installed Theme” Under General Setup -> Layout Setup

    I’ve configured this exactly as I wanted to look like. Is there an easy way to create a child theme out of that?

    I went to the “Create Child Theme” and checked all the boxes then downloaded it and tried to install but then it gives me an error installing the theme. Am I doing something wrong?

    If that’s not a good way to do it can you recommend at least a direction to know where to look at this?
