Thanks Mark! Are you going to be adding other payment gateways like 2checkout?

Does this include a fallback image? so that will use old images from 7.1.4?

And can we update from within your theme? or do we have to reinstall manually?

@lynn, yes, they will be plugins.

Fallback image not included with DT 3.8 :(
Also when including fallback image, could we have fallback map data too!
(Would make switching over, a lot easier)

Also the max sub cat does not let me set to zero! Still shows 1 sub :(

And icodes plugin still not working on CT 3.8

I love the new theme, and can not wait to get all my sites up-to-date, but still seems hard to switch over.

Great for creating new sites, as setup is fine. But switching over a large Press is difficult currently.

Ohh… Dosn’t seem to work on my sites, only the first display image is showing…

    Am I doing something wrong?

    For example:
    http://hastonian.co.uk/listing/gensing-gardens-hastings-parks/

This post had more than one image when was 7.1.4

there is 1 fallback for the moment which is ‘image’, ill try update the premiumpress plugin to include additional ones as i dont want to slow down the framework code since not everyone is migrating from the non-repsonsive themes.

Lee, i assume your old format was ‘images’ image1.jog,image2.jpb etc?

But surely there are many migrating, with huge directories.

Can it be optional, so that it does not slow framework for others.

I do intend to re-upload images for new framework, but this will take me time as have about 5k+ images to be re-uploaded.

This option would allow us to switch over, without loosing our sites functionality, then we can adjust each listing at our own time.

We desperately want to switch our large directory as we need the speed of new theme and love the responsive theme, also the members side is a huge improvement from 7.1.4

if the images issue the only thing holding you back?

    @Mark

Yes the image issue is currently the only thing holding me back from switching my bigger directories.

You see the images is the massive part of why people visit my directory, and need the listing to be able to display all of my images. (Am happy to upgrade each of the listings, but will take me time, and need my site to be functional while I am switching over).

I we could have a temporary plugin that would use the ‘images’ custom field until we can upgrade all the listings would be great.

Then we could switch to new theme and convert listings in our own time (I recon would take us about a week to convert each of our listings).

Also this would be useful for your other directory users who have larger directories, and wish to switch over.
