Paypal not connecting to merchant account

    I am using paypal to take card payments, I have activated the paypal gateway (plugin) but it does not give an option to connect my merchant ID. My paypal account is ok and ready to receive payments but how do I connect the both?.

    I have input my email address and other information, but no joy
