New Day Child Theme

Hello, Trying to use New Day for Auction Theme, however, the menu is appearing all wrong. Not sure what’s wrong and am limited in experience. Thought it should just Plug & Play.

The menu is showing twice (once with and once without brown theme banner), plus the ‘flourish’ on the sides of the brown banner is missing. Also, there’s a section in between the two menus that tells you what page you are currently on.

Also having trouble with the slider showing up, which was a main highlight of this child theme.
