navigation bar issues

In lieu of a categories menu on the home page, I am thinking of listing the categories in the navigation bar instead.

This gives me two issues:

1. I have 6 categories and currently the nav bar is only supporting 5 links. How can I add that extra tab I need?

2. The main nav bar would be my categories, but I will need a 2nd nav bar, perhaps in the header somewhere, for the other non-category pages. How can I do this?
