When someone pays for a classified listing via PayPal the system sends them 4 emails instead of one. Naturally the customer is concerned they have be charged multiple times. Anyone know how to fix this?

this is the paypal callback feature hitting your site 4 times and so each time triggering an email.
Paypal will send the user a normal confirmaton email as standard so you could just disable the one in your theme as its not needed.
Thanks for the quick reply. I don’t see how to disable the callback feature in the theme though. Is it an option or do I need to edit the code somewhere?
disabling the callback wouldn’t be the way to go, simply turn off the email under the email manager.
