Mass Emailer- NEED HELP!

Hi all, Man, I need a mass-emailer. I downloaded Send Blaster but not sure how to use it. Can you guys tell me what exactly is a "smtp" and how do I fill in the information in the box to send an email. Attached is a picture. I'm sure it is straight accross the board with all other emailers- so, help me out here. Also, if there is a WordPress plugin that can do the same thing then help me with that as well. I installed E-Mail Broadcasting, but the mails are not going anywhere after the first 1000 or so. I know, because on my mailing list, in order, my other emails are on the same list- and the emails are not going to my mailbox. Any help would be appreciated!

I would strongly recommend to NOT use your own site/server for mass mailing as you are risking to get your server blacklisted. Also many hosting providers impose a daily limit on how many emails could be sent.

Try using services such as MailChimp, Constant Contact or Aweber.

    I love spam 🙂 ( monty python )

If they are all your members and you have a dedi you could use mailman mailing list no problem.

If not your members and you were on my servers I would shut you down. 😎

I tried it once and bluehost came to me and told me to stop… lololol… man, what’s an email marketer to do? 🙁

But thanks Richard. And, what I will do, is use email accounts like hotmail or gmail to mass email. That would be a better thing!

I personally use MailChimp – it is free for up to 2000 contacts and has easy integration with WordPress – and works with PremiumPress themes.

Thanks Mark, but I was wondering about more than just an opt-in widget…My thought was more along the lines of an integration with our “users” (listing businesses)…for easier email broadcasts & tracking of clicks, etc. for ongoing marketing/upsell efforts.

Joseph, mailchimp can be integrated with the ‘users’ (all the paying or subscribing customers on your site) and has many other features. Just give it a try, it does not cost you anything.
