images quota in the themes

hi.
i can no longer see any images on my directorypress site. can you maybe tell me why?
it seems to me there is an image quota limit somewhere becuase any images i uploaded today are displayed as unknown in /directoryypress/thumbs forlder. and since there there is an error when uploading media saying the upload has not been completed. although on the other hand I DO see all the images displayed in the media library, so it must be a directorypress issue and nt wordpress as images by default are defined to go into the theme’s folder.

any explanation on what to do?
