Is there an option for me to offer free memberships on my Classifieds Theme?

Basically I want to offer a free membership package that allows the user 5 x free listings per year. This will stop suppliers/dealers from flooding my Classified site with endless listings of tat (like they do on eBay!).
I will also offer other PAID membership packages …

    Is this do-able?

Yes, just leave the price field in the package options blank.

    Kind regards,

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

The problem is, my membership package is offering the user 5 x free listings per annum if they use the membership package, after that they will have to pay the normal listing price (example … £10).
But at the minute, when the user clicks the ‘5 x Free Listings Membership’ – they get taken to the ‘Pay Now’ page.
Do you have any ideas on how I can set this up?

I have included a couple of screenshots

What do you have set under the price of that membership?

So I tried just entering a # and some horrible things have started happening!!
Every time I enter anything into that field now, all those letters keep appearing and nothing actually get entered into the field!
So I deleted that membership package to try and start again and the same thing keeps happening on a new package?!?

    See screenshots.

As I said, you have to have that field blank (means ‘EMPTY’)! If there is anything in there, just delete it and then save.

I understand blank means empty, and I have tried that … still didn’t work though.
