I know it is not right to discuss it here. Hope I won’t get blocked for this… Bail… 🙂

Do anyone know the reason why some of the domains being shown in many public registries as ‘available’ even after someone bought it. I notice it mostly with ‘co.uk’ or ‘.us’ domains. What happens if the same domain is bought by another person?

domains cannot be bought by two people, they may appear available on some sites but when they try to buy it on your behalf, they wont be successful.

The registrar you are using to check .co.uk is using a cached lookup (which in itself is against Nominet T+Cs) and is not worth registering through.

Always use nic.uk for .co.uk lookups.
