Detecting user location on mobile

The location function seems to work fine for desktop website users. However on mobile devices, the location of the user isn’t automatically detected.

As location is more important for mobile users than desktop users, So I’m sure there must be some way to enable this for mobile. As well as some way to prompt mobile users to share their location with the website.

Perhaps the code has been left out of the mobile friendly part of the responsive theme.

Any suggestions on how to setup automatic location detection on mobile, much appreciated!
