custom searchfield based on checkboxes in Dating theme

    when I create a custom field, in profile setup, based on checkboxes, it shows successfully in “edit profile” but when I afterwards create a custom search field based on theese checkboxes, it does not show any options to choose from in the searchpage, just an incomprehensible string.
    I have tried with all plugins disabled and same result.
    Does anybody have a solution for this ?
