Completely confused with the theme

Hello,

So I bought the comparison theme last week thinking it suits my needs after reading the theme capabilities and watching the youtube video. Now that i’ve been working on it for a few days, i’m completely unsure it does what it is supposed to do.

The only thing I wanna do is run a pricerunner/pricegrabber kind of site. I dont want users registering nor listing anything. The problem is, the theme doesnt compare! I gave two products the same SKU, but they don’t appear together in the comparisontable. The store name and logo dont show on the ComparisonTable. There is no way to know how many stores sell a specific product like all comparison engines do. There is no XML feed import, we can’t compare by title parts or ID or SKU. I think it only compares by exact title, which is completely inefficient if we import thousands of products as identical products have slightly different names depending on the merchant !

I’m totally confused and I will be grateful if someone could tell me whether I can make this theme work like a normal product comparison site or if I should stop working on it and find something else.
