Cannot view taxonomy

I thought I had this issue before on another site but I cannot find the post on the forum. I created a taxonomy and when trying to view the taxonomy I get redirected to a specific product. This is happening on all taxonomies.

Before posting the question here I tried to reinstall WP & SP but that didn’t work.

Example taxonomy

https://example.com/brand/adidas
which gets redirected to
https://example.com/product

Any help will be appreciated.
