    I have the Responsive Shop Theme with the blue child theme. I am trying to change the shade of blue, but at the bottom footer, there seems to be a light blue image covering up the colors I choose. How do I get rid of it?

    Try adding this to your CSS:

    #footer_content { background: #61A3D1; }

    Change the #61A3D1 to the shade of blue you need.

    HTH :)

    Thanks! I decided to turn it yellow instead of blue…but want blue writing. I have the title in blue, but the rest is in white, but I want it blue. I can’t figure out how to change it. I have tried so many things! haha HELP!

    Also, the very bottom copyright area I also want to change to dark blue with yellow writing….It can’t be controlled in the design page area because that light blue seems to overwrite everything there.

    For blue writing in the footer, add this to your CSS:

    #footer_content .row { color: #006699; }

    Where #006699 is the shade of blue you want.

    For the very bottom:

    #footer_bottom { background: #AAAAAA; color: #BBBBBB; }

    Where #AAAAAA is background colour and #BBBBBB is html code for the text colour.

    HTH :)

    Clive, the first script worked on the footer color changes, but the second script for the copyright footer, didn’t. Any suggestions? I tried several times, but no success. This is what I am pasting with the correct color codes:
    #footer_bottom { background: #1760c5; color: #ecdd0d; }

    Great! Zarko emailed me a code that worked for the bottom copyright area to change background color and test, but doesn’t change the color of the social media icons which NOW is what I need. I would like to change the social icons to either red or yellow… HOW DO I CHANGE THE SOCIAL ICONS at bottom copyright footer area?

    This is the code that Zarko gave me. THANKS ZARKO! :
    #footer_bottom .container { background: #1760c5; color: #ecdd0d; font-weight: bold; }

    Ok, Zarko gave me the social-media icon color change solution, too! THANKS AGAIN ZARKO! Anyways, for anyone needing the same help here is the code:
    Use this CSS to make social icons yellow:
    #footer_bottom .socialicons li { background: #ecdd0d; }

    I just decided to turn mine red instead of yellow, but you can put whatever color code you want.

    Hey all

    I am working with the latest responsive shop theme.
    I am trying to add links to the Font Awesome Icons in the footer, but it is not working

    Can someone provide some information on how to do this?
    I have gone to General Settings> Footer & Analytics, but whatever I tried has not worked.

    Help please

    Thanks
    Daniel

    Currently there is no option to add more links only adjust the existing ones.

    Hi Mark,

    So at the moment, when you click on the font awesome icons at the bottom footer, they don’t go anywhere. To confirm, are you saying that I cannot add my Facebook or twitter pages to those corresponding icons, so that if you clicked on the icons, they would go to my social pages?

    Thanks

    you can set your links etc in the admin under the general setup -> footer tab.
