Require API from Shopper Press to Google Merchant. If price good!
i suggest using the jobs board.
I have done that.
There is already an existing plugin for ShopperPress that creates automatic xml feed for Google Merchant:
Wide range of PremiumPress and WordPress Plugins and add-ons
PremiumPress customisation services and Website Design
Selection of PremiumPress Child Themes
I love you Richard… I want you Google children 😆
But is this an API? And will it get the prices updated daily/etc? Going to purchase anyhow!!!
Richard, I am trying to figure out the ShopperPress Admin Settings.
There is a Drop down box ” OVERRIDE GOOGLE SHIPPING” with 3 options.
I am unsure how to set this up.
Use Google Default Shipping, nothing to set up.
Google Shipping and Use Plugin Shipping Options, Requires Country, Shipping Cost and Shipping Service.
Does Google require these 3 items to be in a certain format. Like the Country do I put USA or United State of America.
here is pic of settings.
It is as per Google Feed specifications (https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188494 )
Google uses ISO3166 Country codes for the Country (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2 )
Shipping cost should include also the currency code (so for US it would be ‘9.99 USD’).
The Shipping Service describes the shipping method used and is optional (Fedex, Royal Mail etc. )
Richard what is difference from Google Shipping, but with per Product Override and Use Plugin Shipping Options
Both require same info for Settings.
On shipping cost do I put 9.99 USD or 9.99
Google Shipping, but with per Product Override – this setting uses shipping as set in the Google Merchant Centre, but allows to override it via values set in each product
Plugin Shipping Options – uses shipping as set in the plugin instead of the one set in Google
You would use – 9.99 USD (number followed by the currency code)
Richard, if I use the PLUGIN SHIPPING OPTION and put 9.99 is that per Product or Total Shipping Cost for several Products.
I charge 9.99 Flat Rate Shipping.
It uses that shipping option for ALL PRODUCTS
But if you charge a flat shipping, it might be better to set the shipping in Google Merchant.
