This plugin will let you choose your own expiry field (custom field) and setup options to delete or draft the listing when its expired as well as move to another category.
Should have said, once activated it will add a new tab under your ‘listing setup’
Great plugin mark thanks
Just a doubt, will it automatically move all the expired coupons populated from icodes also?
it goes by the expiry value you have set, so if thats what you’ve set then yes otherwise no.
ah thanks, must have forgot to change that. will update it shortly.
delete the plugin then reinstall it
A heads up: It looks like expiry options are not working in 4.5, they were in 4.4.
Looking at the error log this is possible the issue:
WordPress database error Table ‘xxxxxxxx.wp_posts’ doesn’t exist for query SELECT count(*) AS total FROM wp_posts
that error is todo with the message count, fixed in 4.6 for users running network/multisite.
Not sure why the plugin isn’t working, the cron executes successfully but it doesn’t move listings into another category.
Is it due to having a custom expiry field perhaps?
shouldnt do, it checks for the key you entered and nothing else.
I am running this plugin on version 5.0 and also get an error when i try to test it:
http://localhost/WP/wp-admin/admin.php?page=5&runexpirytest=1 . Firefox can’t establish a connection the the localhost. How can we resolve this so the expired coupons remain available and listed under the correct store?
I ran a test on this and the plugin sadly doesn’t work for me. I set the coupons to stay published and be moved to a category called Expired Voucher Codes but it’s not happening. The expired coupons are set to Draft which is a huge problem as you know get non working links when coming from Google etc.
The idea is to have all listings remain live so this will also create an archive of listings with the various shops.
I’m pretty sure I set it up right in the system but the plugin isn’t working. Any ideas? This is quite an important part of my site’s architecture and user experience.
Is anyone else having issues using this plugin? Or if you did get it working, can you let me know what you did to get it working?
I’m trying to prevent my expired coupons going to draft and even though I set this up with the plugin it isn’t happening.
