anyone have any experience doing this?
Peter, I am not sure we are talking about the same thing here but I use Taxonomy Images Plugin that allows me to add image to each Category.
hello, I also would lik e to add a large photos to my categotes as we could several versions ago, now i can only have a 1 cm by 1 cm photo or to add the little cartoons, who wants to add those cartoons to their category?
I tried 2 plugins and they dont work.
One of them allows me to upload the photo, but the size is still 1 cm x 1 cm, and the second one gives me taxonomy error when i try to save the photo.
there is a taxography ( advanced taxonomy image) widget added in my widgets, but there is no category page to add it to.
I will very much appreciate for somebody to help me and anybody else who needs this out, by giving the plagin name exactly.
What is your site url?
it is http://www.hitek-webstore.com
Do you have a link to the category with a sample image?
yes i will put it up now
here it is i have marked the tiny category photo with red circle
You can insert image directly into the description using html
But with a bit of customisation, you could have larger images using the ‘icons’.
It will require creating/editing the _gallerypage.php in your child theme folder and also some small css changes in your styles.css in your child theme folder.
That worked great!!! Thank you Richard, third time you have come to my rescue. Your csv export file working great and doing wonders to my sales :)))))
Just a small note, when you are entering a ‘br’ tag, it needs to be self enclosed (means having ‘/>’ and not just ‘>’ at the end) so it should look like this
Oh man I wish I would have seen this sooner! This is awesome. So, within the category description, I simply add the html to have the image show up?
Anyone able to figure this out in Shop Theme? I added the img tag and image still does not show up.
