The product page for each item has a large “ADD TO CART” button on the top right. This button has never worked. However, at the bottom of the page is a product carousel and the “ADD TO CART” button works on all of those.

    example: http://packaged-gases.com/listing/gas-cylinder-argon/

    Hello Jeffrey,
There’s an error with the javascript that handles that action, possibly a file encoding conflict.

Something like this can happen after editing a file and saving it with different encoding (this is set within the editing software settings) or when uploading files if using an incorrect transfer mode, so the same method would not work. (i.e. text files and images are transferred differently, images use ‘binary’ mode and text files use ‘text’),

I’d be happy to take a look at your ‘/ST/framework/class/defaults_cart.php’ file if you could zip it up and attach it here.

    Hi Jeffrey,

I went line by line in two files (with a fresh file and the one I have installed), but the main differences had to do with spacing of some sort (i.e. tabs, space, newlines…etc).

Everything else looked ok, so I would think just replacing the file should fix it..

This is a fresh ST theme file. Rename your current ‘defaults_cart.php’ file and place this file in it’s place and it should work.

Note: The file was taken from the v8.9.7 Shopping Theme.
