Map bugs in version 8.7/8.8

Here are map related bugs I’ve found in version 8.8 so far.

1.Add listing – if you select a location which contains a city then select a rural address that doesn’t contain a city (in the address pulled up by the system) the fields map-city and map-address3 are still set to the city you previously clicked on.

2. In Page Setup –> Search Page, if you change Display Map from ‘Above Search Results’ to ‘Top’ you no longer get the map appearing when you display categories though it still appears for searches. Appears fine for both search and category display when you select Above Search Results.

3. Ticket #EXV-352-11858.
When you do a search or list a category the correct results are listed but on the map it always shows just the same listing regardless of results. This suddenly started happening after adding that particular listing. Adding subsequent listings didn’t change anything, still just that same listing appears. Ticket raised, number above.

4. Strange clustering. See screenshots: screenshot 1 shows 4 listings in UK wheareas only 1 is in UK, zoom in by 1 and you get screenshot 2 which shows truer picture but still shows 2 in UK. Zoom in by one more and you get screenshot 3 which gives better picture but still has a cluster of 2 which needn’t be clustered as the 2 are quite a distance apart. Zoom in by one more for screenshot 4 and you see the full picture.
The clusters are quite misleading and not centered on area covered.

There are one or 2 other things but I spotted those before bug 3 cropped up and can’t do much until that is fixed.
