Query string to display listings where listing_status = 0, ordered by the hits

On the front page I would like to display the listings where listing_status = 0, ordered by the number of hits. It should be something like an additional condition added to:

[code title=””]meta_key=hits&orderby=meta_value_num&order=desc [/code]

(provided in this topic)

But when applying the query string above, also the ‘closed listings’ (with listing_status = 6 ) will be displayed.
