Listing category icon not updating

I have tried for a number of hours to change the listing category images. I’ve attached screenshots to help explain the problem.

First, I click on Listing Manager–> Categories. (Screenshot 10)
Second, I upload an image and click update. (Screenshot 11)

This is where things get crazy. After, clicking update, the screen says Item updated. (Screenshot 12) However, if you look to the left, the heading now says Posts, not Listing Manager Categories.

Strangely, I have not added any blog categories. When I manually click on Posts–>Categories, it shows that there are no categories. (Screenshot 13)

The images never save. I’ve tried png files, jpg files; I’ve tried different browsers, and computers.

**Also, I deactivated all the plugins on the site and tried multiple times again, but this did not resolve the problem.
